CRF
CRF is the Industrial research centre of Fiat Group specialized in automotive environment. CRF brings in the project its knowledge and also experience in vehicle prototyping equipment, in telematics applications, in HMI for vehicles and safety issues, such as: experience on safety compliant in vehicle telematic applications; experience related to ICT environment regarding hardware (open telematics and multimedia architectures) and s/w (open s/w architectures for the service provisioning); experience on HMI design for the infotelematics systems to be embedded into the cars, commercial vehicles, trucks, tractors, public transport.
Main function / role in OASIS:
- Leader of WP3.4, “Personal mobility”.
- Within the same WP CRF will deal with in-vehicle services dedicated to elderly drivers.
- Responsible for “In vehicle integration”, co-ordinating the integration of the developed systems on the test site vehicles, and providing the Italian test site vehicle.
- Task leader of A3.4.2 “Driver Telematic Support Services”.
