MIZAR Automazione is a private company based in Italy which is specialised in the design and development of systems and software for Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), i.e. telematics applications in the field of transport, including automated information services for transport users and operators. Over the years MIZAR has built up a solid reputation in Italy and abroad for its ability to develop and apply innovative, practical and cost-effective solutions. Participation in numerous European projects has permitted valuable exchange of knowledge with international players. The company is at the leading edge of research and development in the field of transport telematics.The company was set up in 1981 in Turin, Italy, and currently has a staff of around 80 qualified engineers and researchers.
