ITACA is a non profit R&D organisation constituted in a association between the Polytechnic University of Valencia, enterprises of the ICT, Industrial and Services sectors, and Public Administrations and SME Industry Institutes. Available equipment includes: Dielectric Characterisation Lab, Microwave Power Lab, High Precision Mechanical Workshop Lab, Electromagnetic Compatibility Lab, Telemedicine Systems lab, High Performance Computing Laboratory, Broad Bandwidth Network Systems Lab, Electromagnetic Simulation Lab, Electromagnetic Characterisation Lab, Electromagnetic Dosimetry Lab, Medical Informatics Lab, Digital Systems Design lab, Radio over Fibre Systems Lab, Digital and Microcontrol Systems lab. TSB Group: Technologies for Health and Well-Being (TSB) is the area of Research and Development (R+D) of ITACA, dedicated to the application of Information and Communications Technologies in the fields of Health and Social Services. TSB develops its research by means of its 4 primary lines of action (E-Health, E-Inclusion, Life Quality and Health Information) applying to each of these areas, distinctive technologies in which the group maintains the greatest experience (Information Systems Platforms, Wireless and Mobile Communication, Knowledge Management and Ambient Intelligence Technologies).
