The Instituto Tecnologico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM), commonly known as Tecnologico de Monterrey, is a private non-profit nationwide university system, comprised of 33 campuses spread throughout 26 Mexican cities. The Tecnologico de Monterrey seeks to educate professionals and equip them with the skills needed to succeed in the professional world, Tecnologico de Monterrey has developed into an institution recognized, nationally and internationally, for its academic and research excellence.

The Campus Estado de México (CEM) is one of the most important institutes having the best Postgraduate programs, Master and PhD, in areas of Engineering and Sciences in Mexico. In particular, the Computer Sciences Department focuses its efforts in the following areas: Computer Graphics, covering virtual reality and human-machine interaction, Computer Networks security, Bioinformatics, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Soft Computing, Evolutionary Computation and Information Technologies. All this research areas are developed in a number of National Research Projects (founded by the mexican research council and industries) and International Research Projects (founded by NSF-USA, per example).

  • Contributing its expertise in algorithms development and in cross-cultural design issues.
